レスリーの家族、友人たちが参列したお式でした。お葬式（funeral）よりカジュアルなCelebrating The Life という言葉が使われていて、心暖まるお式だったようです。アランの奥さん、エレーンさん、デレクも参列しました。アーヴィンさんはレスリーとどのように友達になったかを話し、たくさんの笑いを招きました。
バネッサ・アン・レッドさんとレスリーの「ダニー・ボーイ」。式で流れました。

Irvine Welsh delivered a eulogy for Les McKeown on Sunday as the Bay City Rollers singer’s funeral took place in London.
The Trainspotting author led the tributes at a private ceremony held for the singer at the City of London Crematorium in East London.
Welsh told those in attendance of his friendship and bond with the Edinburgh-born pop star.
McKeown’s wife Peko and son Jubei, who also delivered a tribute, celebrated his life with close friends and family.
During the order of service they listened to a version of the classic Danny Boy, recorded by McKeown with Vanessa Ann Redd, and one of his most recent songs called Goodbye.
“It was emotional,” a close friend of the family said. “Those two songs did the trick and set everybody off, but it was a celebration of Les’s life and Irvine was brilliant. Irvine told how he had become friends with Les over the years. There was a lot of laughter.”
McKeown, who was frontman of the Bay City Rollers at the height of their fame in the 1970s, died last month aged 65

レスリーのお葬式が無事に終わったのですね。
やはり現実だったんですね。
ぺこさん、ジュウベイ君、フィル、スコット、アレックスさんの顔が浮かびます。デレク、アランの奥様も参列されたのですね。よかったです。
その中心にいつもレスリーがいました。
バンドをまとめ、ジョークでみんなを楽しませていたのではないでしょうか。想像です。
45年近く私の心の一部だったレスリーを突然失いました。迷路にまぎれこんだみたいな気持ちです。
しかし、これからまだ生きていかないといけません。
ファンのみなさんによって思い出は様々だとおもいます。
私は自身の少しの思い出を大切に時々思い出しながら生きて行きたいと思います。しかし、45年を埋める事は時間かかりそうです。。
rinoさん、レスリーのお葬式が行われましたね。今はこうして情報がすぐに流れる時代で、有難いですね。45年前なら新聞かニュース、ワイドナショー等で分かりましたかね。コロナでなければ、ファンも集えるお葬式にしたでしょうか。
突然心の一部を失って、どうしたら良いか分かりませんよね。気持ちの整理がなかなかできないと思います。でも人生は続きますものね。レスリーとの思い出を胸にして、生きていけますね、rinoさん。またいろいろなエピソードを聞かせてください（本ができるかもしれないですね） よろしくお願いします(*^^*)
